R8R - RMR Mount

Introducing our first non-Star Wars and non-replica part, the MachineCraft R8R. The R8R is a low-profile RMR footprint optic mount built specifically for S&W R8 and TRR8s. This mount utilizes the tapped holes on top of the barrel shroud meant for the OEM 1913 rail, eliminating the need for removing the rear sight to mount a red dot. The R8R is precision machined from 7075 T6 Aluminum and Type III Hard Coat Anodized.

NOTE: This mount will only fit S&W R8's and TRR8's and is only designed to fit optics that utilize an RMR footprint. R8 and TRR8 in the photos are for demonstration purposes only. Some newer R8R units may have reversed orientation of laser engraved logos; These logos are completely covered with an optic installed and this will not affect functionality of the mount in any way.
